Teaming Up

Interns are typically college students who join the New Life staff for 6-12 months to experience life as a temporary member of the New Life staff. They serve in a variety of areas and get on-the-job training in the world of vocational ministry. Interns are provided with housing with a New Life family and a small stipend that is gobbled up by growing gasoline prices.

Residents are college graduates who join the New Life staff for 12 months to work in a specific ministry area. They typically start and grow a new area of ministry. Residents are provided with housing with a New Life family and a little bigger stipend that covers gas and an occasional cheeseburger.

Church Planters often join the New Life staff to get the behind-the-scenes look at what life looks like in a church planting church. The length of time varies, but usually includes specific ministry responsibilities at New Life while preparing to plant a new church in cooperation with New Life and Passion for Planting. Compensation varies with the specific circumstances but often involves raising all or part of their salary.
